TYPES OF PILATES CLASSES AT C2 BODY

Beginner Reformer Pilates

Are you ...

  • new to Pilates?
  • new to the Reformer or Tower?
  • recovering from injuries or experiencing limitations that require modifications?
  • wrapping up a private Fast Track package and hesitant about joining a group class?


If you answered YES to ANY of the above questions, then this class is for you! The Beginner Reformer Pilates group class is designed to take you deeper into the principles of Pilates, continue to help you get acquainted with the equipment, and challenge you without overcomplicating it. Effective, precise and technique oriented. This is a great stepping stone class prior to joining regular reformer classes.


REFORMER PILATES

Welcome to GROUP reformer pilates classes! This is a multi-level class.  We will challenge all individuals choosing appropriate variations and or modifications either increasing the difficulty for some while simplifying for others. Class is designed to give all a great workout. If you are new to Pilates, we require that you start with a Beginner Reformer Class before entering a multi-level reformer class. If you have injuries or any limitations, PLEASE contact the studio prior to attending this class or PLEASE check with an instructor to see if this multi-level class is appropriate.


INFRARED HEATED MAT PILATES

In our Himalayan Salt Studio! Best way to deepen the Pilates principles in your body is on the MAT! Learn and feel how by adding small props can help you find and enhance your connection. Great way to add variety to your regime and challenge yourself with body weight exercises that leave you feeling more connected and dialed into your core!


TRX Pilates

In our Himalayan Salt Studio! You know how much we believe in Pilates! This class combines all the benefits of the TRX training system with the solid foundation and repertoire of Pilates—creating an unbelievable challenge to your Pilates practice as well as your current fitness regime. By using your body weight in various positions with the TRX suspension apparatus, we leverage gravity to develop your strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Come try it!


Jumpboard/Cardio Tramp | Athletic Conditioning Reformer Pilates

This class will challenge your strength and endurance. Participants will be taken through a sequence of exercises that requires the individual to jump continuously on a jumpboard or cardio trampoline (while lying on the reformer) upwards of 5 minutes with 1 minute breaks. Come get your heart rate up while toning your entire body. This class is not appropriate for those with injuries or limitations and is also not for beginners. Reformer experience is required.

All of our brands are rooted in the principles of Pilates. Why? Because we believe in the method. Pilates provides a solid foundation for all fitness modalities. While we promote a variety of movement practices—whether it’s running, walking, biking, spinning, climbing, jumping, hiking, dancing, swimming, or lifting weights—we always encourage you to do your Pilates!
